This mug features custom artwork of Slenderstem Lessengia, a species of flowering plant in the daisy family. It is widespread across the northern parts of the Central Valley and adjacent foothills and mountains, including the Sierra Nevada foothills and the mountains of the San Francisco Bay Area. This watercolor painting was done by Coral Pea Designs, a lovely "friend of the cave", artist Jo has interpreted 3 of my favorite wildflower/flora located near Boyden Cavern and we are featuring them on various print-on-demand items.
